Friday 6th February

It's been a while since I posted here, been a bit busy with work and sorting out the road book for the ACT series round in May. Tristan and i have managed to set an awesome course for the rally with around 150km competitive and all daylight.

On another front, am looking at purchasing some land out near Braidwood, around 1200 acres which will be good for a test track. Watch this space if it all happens.

Andrew's running the Charade this weekend, I'll be in Melbourne, so can't be at the track. Will be interesting to see his times.

Anyway enough for no bring on some rallies and some fun, although not happy with the $2600 entry fee for ROC, looks like a small field in the ARC part of the event with most going for the ACT series entry.

Sunday 30th November

Wakefield again for the running of the Wakefield 300 endurance race. Shane and Daniel finished 8th outright and first in class. Not a bad effort considering they qualified 20th.

Saturday 29th November

Up at Wakefield Park near Goulburn today. Was helping out Shane with his circuit racing stuff, he was running his Proton Satria. Andrew and Tristan came up and helped as well. Had a few issues with the steering and wheel alignment, I think Andrew spent most of the day under the car sorting things out. Also had the battery come loose and try and get out of the car, cutting power to the engine and shorting out a few things.

Monday 24th November

Lisa came around today for seat fitting in the Charade. Also filled out all the event documents ready for the rally. Revolution Racegear supplied a suit for Lisa to wear in the rally. New engine has been completed, just have to fit the new turbo and exhaust, this will happen on Thursday at Carco Exhaust in Belconnen

Sunday 23rd November

The new engine is in the car, started easily, few issues with turbo, looks like the seals are stuffed. Will have to source a new turbo.

Saturday 22nd November

Engine is looking good, everything has gone to plan with the build. Looking forward to having it running in the morning.

Friday 21st November

A late night putting the engine together, hope to have the engine in the car Tomorrow. Have to clean up the shed now and find all the tools that we have misplaced.

Wednesday 19th November

Got a fair bit done tonight, pistons have been done, balance shaft in. Starting to look like an engine now.
