Oberon this weekend
Heading to Oberon rally this Saturday, doing a road closure and taking a few photos and maybe some video.

Looks like a very strong field, with Michael South, Thomas Barrett, Ray Day and Peter Taylor having a run. Will also be fun watching the Ute of Doom driven by PJ and his offsider James "Cyclops" Thornburn.

Will post photos Sunday morning.

Land Speed Trials
Well weather permitting we will be running the Charade at the 2008 Land Speed trials at Lake Gairdner in South Australia.

The event is held 3rd to 7th of March and is a speed freaks dream. We will be aiming for Class record and to have a good time.

If you wish to be a part of the team to head over let me know via the contact section of this site.

New look
Well it's been a while coming, but I have finally done the new look for the site. I hope you enjoy the new look as it's taken quite a bit of time to build.

You will notice that down the Right hand side of the site is a list of all our sponsors and supporters. Please check out the links and support the people who support rallying. This will keep our sport alive.

On another note the team is gearing up for the new year, especially with the purchase of our new 6mx3m shade. This will help during the services for our crew, plus it's waterproof. More improvements to come yet, but we have to build the new engine and Andrew is full on into the build of his Charade.

All things go to plan and we will have two Charade's at the Blue Range event in February.

Well that's all for now, some more news next week.

Charade Preparation
Have started getting the Charade ready for ROC, have purchased a new hand brake which I'll be setting up in WRC style. Also new mudflaps which I'll be fitting during this week.

We have the gearbox off at the moment so that the rear main seal on the engine can be replaced, this will happen this coming weekend. The car will then be ready to go to Russ Battison to build the exhaust system.

While the car is away getting the exhaust done we will prepare our equipment and get all the logistics sorted for Rally of Canberra. This is a big job as we will have quite a few people to organise.

Looking forward to it all coming together for the big event.

Thats all for now

Finishing the fence
The new double gates are done, have also levelled out the front yard and put down weed matting with crushed red granite covering it all. Will make it a lot more presentable and can drive cars onto it. Suddenly I have parking for about 3 more cars, just don't tell Spac.

Now all we have to do is get the 4 door Charade into the shed and get rid of the Applause and my place will look pretty spiff. Looking forward to having the fence painted as well.

Will get some photos doen once the cars are gone from the front yard.

Thats all for now
